This necklace has a quiet, soft color palette. Jewelry with a lot of contrast and colors is beautiful. But so is working with a smaller color palette or even a single shade and using shape and texture and finish to create visual interest. This necklace is one of those pieces. The ceramic donut from JJ Pottery Beads and the shell beads saw each other and fell in love. The rest of the design came together rather easily. Just two chocolate brown pearls to pick up the background colors in the donut and then back to neutral with the shell beads whose facets cause light to dance.
