Recently, I took a few moments out from running my jewelry business to stop and smell the roses – literally. A park in my area has a beautiful rose garden. Somehow, despite my best intentions, I always manage to get there when the roses are a bit past peak. This year, a lot of rain and various responsibilities conspired against me. However, I did make it there and several bushes still had gorgeous blooms like these. The color variations in these are just so beautiful.
A walk in this lovely rose garden refreshed me and my creative juices (always close to the surface) started bubbling over. I had an excellent day at the bench accomplishing some metal work and am raring to get back there when I finish this post. The photo below shows more of the rose garden. The gazebo is a favorite spot for weddings.
