Today I am getting jewelry ready for a store that carries my work. Every time I go, I like to leave the store well stocked and looking good. I take mental notes of what might be needed the next time I go. Maybe I could use more bracelets or there’s too much green (always a danger with me). And I use those notes to begin preparing for the next time I go. Always striving to put my absolute best foot forward when it comes to my work.
I also take the time to write the materials on the tags. The women who work at the store tell me that this means a lot to the customers. They like knowing what materials an item is made of. I also take little mats and pads to lay the jewelry on, in addition to traditional necklace easels, choosing colors to show the jewelry at its best. I love walking out knowing everything looks awesome. If I can, I’ll take a photo.
