Silver and Serpentine

These are some of my newest earring creations and I am so happy with them.  I made the little silver circles and think they make excellent jewelry components.  I love them with gemstones, in this case serpentine.  This is the last I have of these serpentine faceted ovals, they have been favorites.  I also made the wire pin that runs through the bead and then wraps around a few times creating a nice little detail.  I hope they go to a good home!

Hi..I just stumbled upon your site, and just wanted to tell you I absolutely LOVE these earrings…maybe someday I’ll be able to do something like this..but, like they say “can’t teach an old dog new tricks” lol…I guess I am considered an “old dog”, being I’ll turn 76 this June, but I am trying to learn how to make jewelry..I think I would love it if I ever get the hang of it…anyway, again I think these are GORGEOUS!!!!!…Thanks, Joan

      Joan,

I’m glad you like them and I don’t see any reason you can’t learn how. After all, you are 75 and commenting on people’s blogs. I’m thinking you are doing just fine when it comes to learning.
