Birch Bark Beads

When I came across these birch bark beads from BirchBarkBeads on Etsy, I just had to share them. I love their organic roughness, their varied colorations, their just plain natural prettiness. They are all handmade by Mary Ewell in Alpena, Michigan. She has them in various sizes and just recently introduced ones made with metal grommets.

Mary’s inspiration and source of materials – beautiful and regal birch trees in Michigan. Just divine.
