Spiral Waves Ring

I have been wanting to learn how to do more with wire and I’ve wanted to learn basket weave for a long time. So when I saw the spiral waves ring class taught by Janice Berkebile, I signed up. Even though it was 6:30 – 9:30 pm after a full day of another class.

I was tired but the class was fun. There were four of us in the class. I’ve known JoAnn McFarland, the owner of Bead Haven in Hampton, VA for many years now. She’s a fabulous beader who like me, wants to learn more about wire. I also met and really enjoyed the company of Cynthia Fawcett and Heather O’Brien. I liked them both right away and the four of us had an excellent class with Janice. Here we are after finishing our rings.

From left to right, Heather, Cynthia, me (very tired), and JoAnn. And here’s the back of my completed ring.

Charlene, what fabulous pictures of your ring! It was so great to meet you and such a surprise to do so in such a fun atmosphere as Janice’s class, glad we had a chance to connect!

      Cynthia,

It was a pleasure to meet you too. You and Heather were both such a delight in class. I look forward to following your adventures on your blog and maybe one day I will make it to Toronto.
