Dear Reader,

Thank you for stopping by and allowing me to share a little of my passion for beads, metal, and jewelry.  My name is Charlene Sevier and I am a jewelry designer.  From childhood, I loved to make things with my hands and fell in love with beads very early on.  Growing up, not having accessibility to craft or bead stores; I would treasure every little item I could get my hands on – a spare button, a bit of broken jewelry, a few beads.  I used sewing thread and needles because it was all I had.  And I loved it.

Today, that same passion and sense of discovery exists in my work.  I strive to make jewelry that is unique, good design, high quality, and a joy for the wearer.  Wherever I travel, I search for unusual beads and materials to incorporate into my designed.  I find inspiration in the world around me, whether it be the shape of a leaf, a door or window with architectural interest, or the color of the sky at a particular moment.

I hope you will enjoy reading about my journey as a jewelry designer and my passion for helping women look and feel fantastic by expressing their individual style with my artisan jewelry.  To see more of my work, visit http://www.etsy.com/shop/CharleneSevier .

Warmest regards, Charlene

Hello. I stumbled into your blog (http://thebeaddreamer.wordpress.com/) and was wondering if you’d be open to a blogroll links exchange seeing as our blogs are somewhat related and I believe that it would be of benefit to us in the long run if we linked up. If you find this suitable kindly drop me a note at im.greystone@gmail.com

Thanks and hope to hear back soon.

  4. Sherwin,

Hi Charlene, I was your table mate at the Richard Salley seminar. I wanted to thank you so much for your support and assistance with my first class in jewelry design. I don’t think I could have gotten through the class without your invaluable help! I saw the post on your blog of the enamel pieces you made. They were gorgeous! I didn’t see the resin work you created with Susan. Were you pleased with the outcome? I looked at your galleries and I have to say….if I had known what a pro you were….and how talented you were…..when I was sitting at your table…I probably would have been incredibly intimidated.

I would love to stay in touch.

    Thanks again for your kindness,

    Rebecca Wilson

How nice it is to hear from you. You were a delightful table mate. I’ve already ordered my sample kit of enamels and hope to get going with them once they arrive. I haven’t taken a photo of the piece from Susan’s class – I plan to do it this week and I’ll email you to let you know.

Your comments about my work are so very sweet and much appreciated.

I hope we stay in touch.

      Regards, Charlene
